Niagara Real Estate Investment Group - Meeting - Oct 30, 2015

Hi Fellow Niagara Real Estate Investors,

I've wanted to start a group in Niagara for Real Estate Investors for a number of years. It seems that all the groups that I used to go to in Niagara have stopped their meetings and I feel that we need, as investors, like minded investors to network and share experiences with.

This month I'll be discussing how to use Social Media to market your Real Estate business. I was  speaking, recently,  to a real estate agent in http://realwealthvacationrentals.com/, they told me how they sold their property using both MLS and Instagram.

Within a month of uploading their property on Instagram they sold the property. You can find more tips on how to use Social Media for real estate investors from my book  at: http://doubleyourincomeusingsocialmedia.com/

I really enjoy informal get togethers where we, as investors, can meet over a glass of wine and chit chat and share what's happening in our real estate world. No pressure, no speakers, nothing formal, just professionals getting together to share their real estate monthly adventures.

I'd like to meet you all on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Pillar and Post Hotel, Niagara on the Lake, Ontario - Inside the Bar area

Free Parking is both at the back and side of the property.

If you need to speak to me you can leave a voice message at 289-273-5681.

Please email janico1@live.ca or leave a phone message if you'll be coming, so I can look out for you.

Just look for me with my name tag at a table in the bar area, you can always ask the serving staff to take you to me.

See you all in October,

Cheers

Vacation Rentals Using Dynamic Pricing

To get a competitive edge over your competition why not use Dynamic Pricing for your #VacationRental?

This year for me has been more successful than past years since I started to use dynamic pricing.  How I use this tool is I show a rate difference between weekdays and weekends.

You'd be surprised how many guests who are looking for a lower rate and specials will book during the week.

My weekends have always been full, it's been the week days in my off season where this strategy has worked wonders.

I'd love to hear your shared experiences about your using dynamic pricing and how has it has improved  your vacancy rate.  Please share with me.

Vacation Rental Owners - #MarketingMonday

#MarketingMonday - What to do when A GUEST breaks one of your prized outdoor patio benches?

Dear Guest;

Thank you for informing us of the broken bench.  We are so very sorry that this happened on your vacation, and grateful that no one was hurt.

We would also like to maintain a positive relationship and appreciate your reaching out to us in a timely manner.  Of course we don't expect you to pay for the accidental damage to the bench.

However please accept the enclosed $25 Tim Horton's gift card and we are looking forward to your future visit.  We will re-inspect all of our furniture shortly to ensure this doesn't recur in the future.
